They have limited time to determine which strain to focus on with the vaccine. The Flu, RSV, pneumonia, Covid,TB and measles this year have killed a lot more people in total than those did 4 years ago.

The CDC estimates that there have been at least 33 million illnesses, 430,000 hospitalizations, and 19,000 deaths from flu so far this season.
... and that's with an available vaccine. I wonder how many it will take for him to turn tail next year.
Then again, maybe not. A lot of the people who will die will be older, so cull the Social Security and Medicare recipients…. So they can give Musk, Bezos and Zuckerberg more tax cuts…
