That government is conservative, so they must have something up their sleeves, they must have found a way to get money to get around this. The Conservatives never block money, so it is to stop the opposition from getting enough money to beat them.

We need to end Citizens United allowing donors to buy elections. Reduce money being spent in elections and let's get truth back in ads. Misinformation needs to stop.
Campaign finance reform is absolutely essential if America is ever to have a government for the people again. This horrible place the country has arrived at is in large part due to the power of wealthy people to promote politicians who essentially work for them and their corporate interests.
If a small country like ours can have safe and fair elections from the start of the campaign to the last vote counted, why can’t your country? You’ve had more time to perfect the process than us.
It took Napoleon to bring down the Holy Roman Empire. The elite (royalty, wealthy, powerful & Church) worked together for their own benefit at the expense of everyone else. It's only natural that they would try to get back what they had lost. They only had to create the same conditions again.
We elected bad people who are not transparent about their goals. Fox News came in and brainwashed their viewers to blame all our problems on poor people. Pitting all the classes against each other. It’s a depressing reality … add the nra into the narrative and we now have angry armed magas.. 😖

Yes maga is armed and angry but those that didn’t vote for him are surely angry as well? If the courts can’t hold and that seems unlikely given the onslaught and threats, people power will be the last bastion of resistance.
