So the fact that you do this in pen is amazing. Especially since it’s PEN. If you mess up, you mess up. Do you start lightly and then work darker? Or does this just come naturally to you?

I start lighter and when I have the basic face proportions in place, I start layering darker tones and lines. Though sometimes it depends on what I'm drawing and if I feel confident enough to press harder right from the start. Hmm I didn't take a precise time but mayyyybe around 2 hours?
