Well, read carefully. It wouldn't be such a bad thing if Trump learned what happened when Germany drove away the best scientists in the world. You CAN'T keep scientists under authoritarian regimes, so learning it would mean he opens science back up which kills authoritarianism.
He just wants to bash Trump. He's not too focused on his people in that sense, anyway. It's funny because this is the most attention anything he's written has gotten in decades. But people don't know who he is anymore, so they have no context.
