It can take time to find ones that feel good to you! While I was playing with testers at the art supply store, I found some brands required a heavier or more precise hand than I have and didn't feel fun to use. You might just need to find ones you like!!
Thank you! It's a sheet from kraft paper I got at a Japanese stationery store. Regular art supply stores have brown paper/kraft paper drawing pads too, I don't think there's a difference between Japanese and Western brands! I just happened to be closer to a Japanese one.

I got mine at a Japanese stationery store, if there are any East Asian stationery supply stores in your region check them out! Japanese paper can be very smooth I've found, I'm not sure why but it feels really nice π₯°
Thanks!! I got this set off Amazon for cheap and it turns out they're oil based, not wax based as I thought! They blend really well light over dark, just make sure your strokes are in the same direction when layering π
