“Nearly every day I was there, I saw a new young child who had been shot in the head or the chest, virtually all of whom went on to die” At first, he thought this was an anomaly, the work of “a particularly sadistic soldier located nearby" but dozens of others were seeing the same thing.

Also interesting for mentioning Mark Perlmutter, the Jewish surgeon who volunteered in Gaza.

Pro Israel propaganda will often claim there are no Jews in Gaza, because they would be killed. In fact many have been there, and the biggest danger to them was the IGF.

I wouldn't say I've lost mine, but it's clear ostensibly good people will easily be persuaded that a group is less than human and look away, encourage even, the worst atrocities against that group.

There are friends I no longer call.
