A 17% success rate is still higher than the national averages for Australia's major grant schemes, though still low. For me personally, I'm fortunate to now be relatively secure and well-recognised in my career. My goal is to help the many talented people within our team achieve their dreams. 2/3

Including to have secure jobs and impactful careers, and achieve their dreams. The reality is this isn't always possible. But we will keep trying. A cliché, but behind all our many successes has been even more so-called failures that we learn from and dust off. 3/3

This is such great leadership. Regardless of the failures, I think this is one of those instances where its the thought that counts.

A community coming together and trying to 'pass the torch', even if it's just a small twig on fire or a sparkler.
