So... tariffs are a beautiful way of raising huge amounts of revenue, because everyone's going to pay more to buy imported goods. BUT, at same time, no-one's going to buy imported goods because instead they're all going to buy American now. Logically, it can't be both; but in Trumpworld it is.

China (admin claims 67% tariff) - deficit 270.4 bil / imports of 401.4 bil = 67.3%
Vietnam (admin claims 90%): deficit 113.1 / imports 124.8 = 90.6%
Thailand (claims 72%): deficit 41.5 / imports 57.7 = 71.9%
