I don't know why everyone has to be hyperbolic about what happened with TikTok. It was politically unpopular to ban it so Trump saw an opportunity to be his narcissistic self and told TikTok that if they kiss his ass with some personal pop-up messages claiming he saved the app he would delay ban.
