It was bad enough that none of the matches were truly that great. It was even worse that the build for the show was pretty damn terrible. It seemed like WWE was leaning more towards talking about literally everything else BUT Mania.

I would indeed. It just felt like they piddled around for months on end and didn't do anything to make you care about the show until last minute. Not great when your show is in the tourism capital of the US and you're struggling to sell tickets.

Currently listening to Sour Graps and Alex just said a little while ago that nothing on this show was as good as Takeshita/Ospreay from a normal Dynamite.

A few great matches and a few good ones. Main issue is it didn't have the Mania feel mostly because the builds to most of these matches have been sub par. AEW continues it's hot streak they will be set.

Exactly not having the Smackdown tag title match on Mania was a terrible decision. A wild TLC match would have been the perfect spice they needed for night 1.
