Comments
McLaren: long run pace, especially with Lando yesterday, looks extremely strong, few tenths advantage
Mercedes: solid, quietly impressive test
Red Bull: Max likely to drag time out of the car, but more questions than answers
Ferrari: no race sim for Lewis, tyre deg concerns
Williams: made a step forward for sure, quick & stable, Carlos/Alex line-up going to be strong
Alpine: continued momentum from back end of 24, there or thereabouts with Williams
Haas: focused more on longer runs, but not quite there with Williams/Alpine
Aston Martin: looked alright Day 1, however others seemed to have taken bigger steps forward
Racing Bulls: quiet test, not a car that is going to be regularly challenging for points
Sauber: sadly for them, look like they’re going to be consistently slowest again
