I will admit to this statement giving me a visceral reaction (disproportionately affecting women)

I've also learned that's when I need to step back and listen

It's complicated by working in HPC on a daily basis. I'm close to researchers and have even helped climate scientists with issues with WRF.

I want to dispel my misinformation, but it's not my place to question or bother them. Even if they're open to it, it's a bad look for someone in my position

Yes! And likely greater impacts will be experienced by women and children of color and indigenous communities so let’s please encourage colleagues to expand the women leadership representation to reflect the range of leadership we seek!
