Scientists can even put numbers on this. 37% of the area burned across western NAm over the last 35 years is attributable to emissions from 88 corporations. Very fast fires are responsible for 3/4 of the structures that have burned.

Well, it seems that the wealthiest amongst us are the ones who are paying the price today. This is what decades of delayed action on addressing climate change and stopping fossil fuel industry costs. As we head into a 2nd Trump administration it’s something to think very keenly about.
