This is one of the grimmest articles on the near term future of our country that I’ve read from the CBC. Manipulation and extortion in the name of short term gain.

The history books will note that Trump campaigned on higher tariffs on basically everything, but tbd whether they’ll mention that American voters were too stupid to know what the word tariff means
One thing Canadians can do in light of Bezos aligning with Trump and their union busting move in Quebec. All Canadians should log into their Amazon account and cancel their service. Your account will still be active but it won't renew.
Have to wonder if non-US companies might take the opposite message: "Invest in America at your own peril — a country that flips policies on the whims of a petty tyrant"
Canada is much more than a trading partner. A loyal ally from WWII through 9-11. Trump demands loyalty to himself, but tramples on the bonds of loyalty we should share with our closest allies.
We are going to have to battle trump head on. First thing we should do is implement a huge exit visa for Canadians who travel to the US. We spend 22B visiting the us. Recall the snowbirds!
All Empires crumble. We at witnessing the end of the USA. which will eventually end unchecked capitalism hopefully ending with a better society. In a way I’m hoping to live to see it. But sad it will result in so much blood and death.
Trump can’t interfere with investigations. That’s against the law.
He did, over and over and over.
Trump cannot withhold or threaten to withhold federal assistance to foreign countries unless they investigate his political opponents. That’s against the law.
Trump can’t use the White House as his personal campaign platform. That’s against the law.

The Constitution and other laws don’t self-execute. At the federal level, the Executive Branch is responsible for enforcing the law equally without fear or favor.
When unconstrained this is Trump’s M.O. There is a reason he had become un-bankable in the U.S. Another NY real estate billionaire once told me “everyone does a deal with Trump. Once”.
It is painful to literally sit back and watch this man destroy our once great nation, and our goals for a better tomorrow. My heart breaks every day, with new and sadder exposures of his evil scheme.
A logical conclusion to a reality of a country, the citizens of which are doing nothing. Except, perhaps, whining online. On platforms designed and delivered by their enemies.

US government computers are now in the hands of a South African dude.
The US government itself is non-functional.
There's been a decapitation strike against the USA, using tools that are vastly more effective than nukes.
The tariffs are designed to isolate during the coup.

How can we disrupt their P2025 plans?
