My point: Germany has key weaknesses and vulnerabilities today, and deindustrialization, unemployment and stagnation could loom in the future, but they don’t have to if Germany uses its strengths wisely and has the will to reform.

Thx. I agree, it is not evident. There are missed opportunities & still ongoing missallocation of investments. Jumping into a micro topic: I can‘t stand the lack of change in schools. Of the existing staff and the overall organisation. This builds our ground. It is embarrassing how we progress.

That is what the Conservatives and Right parties want us to belive. If you are not able to buy the latest smart phone, TV, Car, ... every second year, you are poor and the economy is bad and gets worse. That is whining on the highest level.

But how long will it last? VW, Mercedes, Audi and BMW have substantial problems getting their EV products sold, being replaced in key markets. Along with the car manufactures suppliers will go broke. This will shrink gross domestic product and increase unemployment rate. Only a matter of time.
