Really appreciate your work! Wondering if you have any advice on this question: my husband had COVID in August and is ready for his next booster. Based on the projected variant mix, should he get Novavax or an MRNA shot? All are available (for now). Thanks!

It's looking like Novavax has a longer efficacy than the mRNAs and that if you do get infected, you're likely to have a lower viral load & less likely to transmit it. This is all general; I can look for links to studies if you want.

What I recall reading was that Novavax was targeted at a broader variant, while P/M targeted the subvariant that was prevalent late summer, but that ultimately that didn't much matter in the end.
