The video shows a famous experiment in psychology that's meant to demonstrate selective attention or (I don't like this term) 'change-blindness' - people given the task of counting the passes tend to completely miss the guy in the suit, so that it's often a huge surprise when they see the replay.
Ah ok. I was totally looking out for the gorilla so it probably doesn't work so well in those circumstances. That and my rather limited knowledge of famous experiments in psychology
