Trump’s 2017 tax cuts expire this year, so to give Elon, Zuck, Bezos etc. their tax cut this time they need to come with $5 trillion in “savings.” Projected cost of the payouts for Medicare, Social Security, Medicaid and the other federal dispersements last year was…$5.45 trillion. Hence the scheme.
