First impression is 100% the Cover! I have reading “moods” and the mood has to match my energy before I read the synopsis. I look for the color palette and font, the title and character, I even consider the thickness of I’m looking at in print.

But what keeps my attention is a different thing 😅

The cover, I DO judge books by the cover. The plot synopsis,I like being able to know the general gist of the story, especially if it tells you the three part structure. I’ve been burned by short synopsis that was not the vibe or story I pictured

A good hook and cover.
I hate when I'm considering a romance novel & there's a 8 word book blurb. That is not enough for me to consider using my money or a credit or even Kindle Unlimited.
