I raised a wounded kestrel several years back. What a wonderful experience and a happy, tearful day to watch him fly off to enjoy his nature. He comes to visit periodically.
The only thing I dislike about your pics is that they discourage me from taking up photography. I will not live long enough to come anywhere near your level of skill

You certainly can be. Photography is a learned skill, no one is born with the ability. Photography is about light, light is physics, learn the basics, practice, practice, practice. You'll get there.
