I am a citizen (naturalized). Lived here since '62. Became a citizen in '73. First vote for prez in 1980. But I have no passport. I have poor health and can't travel, so why do I need one? It's insulting to me that they'd require this.

About 48% hold a valid passport. I sounded the alarm last year while the post office & passport offices still had competent people. Hope my friends listened & hope it’s not too late now, but I suspect they’ll at least jack up the price, throw more sand in the gears, etc
