This whole cluster of BM basics was dynamite. Quickstrike was one of the first figures I disassembled and repaired, but he and Longhorn were riding in my backpack during school.

There were some pretty large turds in that punch bowl (looking at you, original Cheetor and Ultra Jetstorm), but I'm in agreement that the basics and deluxe assortment were solid.

Dunno why the range of toys from the Beast era who otherwise never got a chance to appear in either the Wars or Machines cartoons fascinate me, but they do.
