Which makes me wonder - again - why Poland is so reluctant to contemplate deploying forces in UA as part of a European force, to ensure that Russia & US can't force it to surrender. Fighting RU in Eastern UA would be terrible; fighting RU in Eastern PL (or the Baltic states) would be worse.
