Vtubing probably would of taken off in the west just fine if it'd somehow stayed quarantined to Japanese streaming communities, but like, the reason why so many people's sonas are anime based is directly BECAUSE of the influences of those streamers

Admittedly its hair trigger suspicion on my part, I remember how Weird people were about anime/manga/any Japanese media really to a degree where it was like "do you not like this because its not your vibe, or do you not like this because its Asian"
