Outstanding job on these guys! They look adorable!

I think my only critique is that I wish Onepu’s eyes were their proper green 😅 I know it’s based on his second sprite in MNOG, but that little coloring error always bugged me in the game, haha. Still, fantastic job on these!

I've actually noticed a lot of eyes being weirdly colored or just "default yellow" I'll try to make an effort to fix them where I notice these discrepancies going forward. I did it for Tahu already who has Yellow Eyes in a lot of his MNOG sprites but in closeup they're redish pink.

Yeah, I’ve noticed that too. The MNOG Improvement mod does a good job cleaning up those cases of “yellow-eye” in Onu- and (to a lesser extent) Po-Matoran characters.
I can see why Templar stuck with yellow eyes for the fire characters, though: Reddish eyes don’t really stand out on red characters.

The set Ruru is quite small and "slanted" while the MNOG version is a bit bigger and seems straighter. So I tried to take the best of both and do my own thing with it. Same with the Pakari too.

Yeah, personally I’ve always thought MNOG’s boxier design made the Ruru look much more endearing. I really like how you kept that silhouette, but added those grooves to make it a little closer to the set. Nice work!

Also I don’t know if you saw but I’ve been working on improving the shading to get it closer to a MNOG style in 3D. Especially how MNOG deals with light, dark and gradients

Yeah the upper grooves are my inspiration from the set but the set mask also has some other stuff I decided to not include but I kept the lower two grooves as they’re often drawn in during MNOG.
