Houston is the son of former Alabama Supreme Court Justice Gorman Houston Jr.

I lived in Mobile AL when he was the senior pastor of the largest United Methodist Church in the city. He resigned under scandal back then. We all knew.

I get sick and tired of them trying to get people to blame them for everything. Most assaults, rapes, and murders are committed by someone known to the victim. Too often by someone they trust.

I hope people stop trusting church people with their kids. But not more than I hope churches do more to preserve the safety and innocence of children in their churches.
