especially with whispers of a new MVC so i'd be kinda crazy for capcom to develop 2 crossovers and then have to focus on SF7

Yeah, I'm torn about it. Sometimes I think crossover games are dead because of dev times for games nowadays + how "old heads" can react when the roster isn't as big as the past ones. But I also think tag fighters are a different type of fighter than 1v1, and Capcom knows that. So they might ... ?

Personally, I'd bet more on a new MvC than CvS (despite liking the latter more), because MvC appeals to a different player base and has a larger intrinsic appeal than normal "fighting games". But licensing costs (along with company risk tolerance) might change the equation a lot.

To be fair there’s a matter of popularity
MVC makes way more noise and popularity than CVSNK
So I’d be natural that it would be a next project and Capcom had been talking to Marvel longer
I’m sure the guys at Capcom want to make both though lol

Realistically to make both happen is to let Capcom make a MVC
While a Capcom vs Snk would be Done by SNK themselves
But would that take priority over making a new KOF?

Not going to lie, this would be a dream outcome for me. From what I've seen, KOF didn't sell as well as they'd hoped (probably why SNK was sold off from Tencent). I think the 3 on 3 format isn't quite hitting the mainstream market anymore. But tag fighters definitely still have appeal.
