So can this funding be found elsewhere? Is it possible to access the records and carry on with the original participants or is this to be spitefully destroyed forever? Downright evil.
I am currently using IWH data, and have found it to be an invaluable resource. Defunding it materially reduces the impact of our prior investments. Such a shame.
In my long medical career, itβs tough to find another study thatβs with a bigger impact than this one. It changed a lot of the thinking that I originally learned in medical school. From topics from HRT to cancer risks to cardiovascular disease, it changed a lot of the science of womenβs health.
