We need to get diapers so I’m trying to decide if I should get them at the store whose CEO supports fascists or from the one whose CEO is trying to destroy Canadian healthcare. Decisions.

29 years ago I signed on to a diaper service that delivered diapers and picked up the dirty ones and recycled them. I'm sure there are many such services now. Might be worth checking into.
Not just stamina needed- you also need a parent or nanny to be at home with the kid(s). Daycares & dayhomes don't "do" cloth diapers (I have friends who ran into this issue). In addition to the amount of water & energy needed.
Just saying- no good options.
Sorry.
Yah... it just sucks that even with cloth diapering, you usually end up in the same situation debating where to purchase disposables because it's *mostly* cloth but modern life curbs complete use. I did know a family that did complete cloth but... they lived like in 1890s
used cloth for our 1sr-disposable for our 2nd (renovating! & green bins arrived to take some guilt away) & then something called a G diaper which was a hybrid cloth/disposable for 3rd. I don’t think they make those any more-alas. Our cloth diapered child toilet trained fastest. Disposable slowest.
If I did it again I’d use fleece lined diapers with a service to collect flat diaper inserts. I assume these are still sold and know now they would be the simplest. But I also know a few smaller shops that sell disposables so there is also that!

J/k, yeah, something to think about. Thanks.
Not lecturing or judging. Just offering what worked for us :-)

Plus, even we weren't 100% cloth. We still used disposables when traveling and so on for convenience.
