I kinda understand why there is so many fps games. Mechanically shooter are just its point and click. It easy conflict and resolution. Its easy for players to learn and popular with with mostly male audience.
I think you just don’t like FPS games lol. Doesn’t mean there should be fewer shooting games or that shooting games should have less shooting mechanics
yeah. I guess i have played probably few too many. My point isnot to see less Fps games but wish to see more games with more innovative mechanics and stories that do not progress through violence. Sometimes feels alot of media, movies etc rely maybe too much on that to have a conflict and resolution
Oh that’s very different from what I thought you were saying. I’d love to see a story game in the first person with no violence. What kinds of stories come to mind? My first thought is sad stuff, but the most profound of emotions come from the most painful things, like grief or fear.
I dont have much ideas myself. But i think movies have much more variety in this area. But its also much older artform. So filmmakers have had more time to figure out how to tell more complicated stories
The game ' mouthwashing" had good example. story was very good. more deeper meanings and interaction between characters. only gun moment was in the end as dramatic turn of events. It did not glorify the violence.
