Reading an article on rural US, saw this quote, supposedly reflecting why folks voted for 47, in opposition to “woke” ideology.
“This is rural Iowa. You’ve got a male, and you’ve got a female. We don’t have pronouns.”

My question- who does it hurt if someone else uses a different pronoun?
