I wasn't really basing this off of media. The common denominator for the points leading us here is people like my parents which I generalized into their generation. There's always exceptions. But with issues like climate change, they don't appear to be interested in leaving a better world behind - ThreadSky

No. Our generation isn’t ignoring climate change. Or fascism. Or taking our rights away. Or telling our daughters that they do not count. The idea that all Boomers or older generation is propagating these vile ideas is incorrect

It was just a generalization, a vague association like saying an entire generation isn't ignoring climate change.

I'm sorry for you or your friends but when historians write about it they are going to base it on the larger population, which, I think you can admit, doesn't share your views.

Climate change has not been presented well, owing in large part to lobbying by the same parties who brought us the pillaging of today. It was not made particularly relevant nor practical for all but those who could afford to buy an expensive car that needs a lot of beauty rest, and cannot carry much

Not even that it wasn't made relevant but that we were actively lied to about the recycling and sustainability of the cheapest possible products they were marketing to us while planning on Arctic ice melting so they will have faster shipping lanes.

Adam Smith used the word 'education' EIGHTY Times in Wealth of Nations.

Neither of them ever saw a Planned Obsolescence Economy. Ask an economist why depreciation of consumer goods is not in the NDP equation?
