I think my main criticism so far are the continued use of FBs at WB, Dorgu and Amad should be the two for the rest of the season now. Also I’d like him to use carrington more. Certain players in the first team squad just aren’t cut out for this system we’re losing anyway so use a more suited youth

Think the only valid reason not to be involving some more players from the academy is that we haven’t switched to the 21s/18s playing 3421 yet so it might be tough for them to slot in. Would love us to get to 40ish points asap so there really is no reason not to try it though

I do get that, the lack of using Amass is a strange one considering our issues at LWB and I always felt he was more of a LWB than LB. Maybe he just doesn’t rate certain players or hasn’t had the time to assess them. Heaven being signed for the first team is an interesting one especially now

Licha looks like he’s going to be out for a while. He’s used Collyer for a few games and he’s been a breath of fresh air at times. The energy of youth can sometimes be better than using say Eriksen and Casemiro. Also watching the same old players put the same poor performances in.

We’ll have to sign cheap/potential but we’re then gambling on them flourishing in a dreadful side playing in a really negative environment. Suspect the patience required will quickly run out when they inevitably struggle.
