My reasons are COMPLETELY my own and as one of their former directors I assure you that I understand the con significantly more than any speculation. All I ask is to treat the staff nicely. I have a file in my notes containing a few hundred words on my experience with the Touhou community and how I am alarmed to hear that the same qualities may be true of Touhoufest.

I wouldn't go so far as to claim malicious intent. A lot of the people there are doing what they need to in the background and not trying to be "opportunistic".

When I was clearing posting it with affected parties I was met with horror at what has happened to me. I don't think posting would be productive so I'm sitting on it, but I still want to express how horrifying this situation is to me eventually.
