With all the different pieces that they've tried I'm not sure bringing in new players is a solution. The scheme hasn't changed, they are way too passive.
Yes, face-offs are a problem but they let guys set up along the half wall and pick and choose when they make seem passes or pick corners.
Armia and Evans are a PK duo as forwards, and one of the best in the league at that. Just keep them together and let them do their thing and your PK will improve a ton I promise. They’re very aggressive on the PK. Score tons of shorties.
Yeah, it's probably unlikely. But I think he's in the 2nd tier of prospects in the org (Buium, Yurov, Ohgren Wallstedt in the 1st), and I think that's the highest tier Mtl could expect to reach on this deal
I'm just not sure who they'd be sufficiently interested in to make a deal. Maybe Heidt?
I don’t think he wants a 2026 pick. Only non lottery teams to have a 2025 pick at Columbus, Carolina, Washington, Vegas and LA. He mentioned in his mid-season presser that there is such things as too many picks. He’s prettt much there now.
I didn't realize Minnesota didn't have a 1st this year, thanks for pointing it out.. Still having another 1st next year isn't bad. You can always package it part of another deal. And if you don't, you can always offload the picks in the lower round

Literally nothing has changed, but they keep saying it will and they are focusing on it and blah blah blah
Would Guerin go as high as Jiricek to get them? If not what prospects do you imagine would be available for this trade?

He makes that deal if he can’t re-sign them.
