On 4th March 1944, Martin B-26B Marauder #41-34893 crashed shortly after take-off from Maghaberry Airfield. At the time, the Northern Ireland airfield operated at U.S.A.A.F. Station 239.
Burl Lee Creech, Mario Jack Agnese, and Henry Irvin Beall died as a result.
