Dude, I get it, but he hasn't stated his purpose outright. It's not handholding, it's storytelling. And with wrestling, I feel like the storytelling usually works best as a blunt instrument. That's not a knock on wrestling or the fans, just what I feel works best.

I mean, you aren't wrong, but I'm not sure how more blunt you want him to say it without just flat out breaking character. He's done like 15 promos that has made it pretty clear, and the commentary has filled in the gaps pretty well. No one should be confused about his purpose at this point, imho.

All good! I only get to watch half the shows and may miss stuff. Just felt it's been nebulous and see a bunch of complaints, so I figure it ain't just me. To be clear, I'm loving what AEW is doing. Just feel this main story needs tighter direction. But I'm fully along for the ride.

To be fair, I almost never get to watch Collision and likely miss things. I just feel like the storytelling works best in wrestling when it's flat-out stated, and I haven't seen that. Just my two cents!

Yeah I think it's fair if it maybe feels like there's not much payoff to some matches and rivalries in the plot but Mox is acting straight up like Doctor Doom over there with comic book villiain speeches, idk

Doctor Doom is a good analogy. Mox sees himself as the savior of the company, the only one capable of leading it, the only one with the right vision, etc. He's the antihero turned antivillain. He thinks he's the good guy when objectively he is not and his actions are doing evil.

I am always willing to accept I miss something. 😆 We're usually cooking/eating while watching and try to live watch with friends in chat. It could be just me. But I don't feel like any of the other stories are leaving me a little unfulfilled, hence my take on what I'm seeing.

Yeah, and to be fair, this is more of a slow burn story, and there have been moments that are confusing. There's a lot of chaos and the whole Christian contract thing overcomplicates things. I really wish Hook would have just stolen the thing and burnt it tbh.
