I think the funniest part about this is that the alternative acquirer that Jack opposed (hedge funds, Wall Street folks) would most likely do the same shit that Elmo is doing.
Actually, they might have done things a bit better given their profit-driven incentives vs Elmo’s ego steering the ship.

Agreed Mark. Why do we have make a a huge commitment for one article? Granted, advertising/media $$ aren’t the same anymore but there has to be a happy medium.
Which is publishers biggest nightmare. Hence the push against decentralization. I guest lecture at Columbia University’s grad film school teaching about Decentralization and when the lightbulb hits the students, they really light up and get excited. This is the future.
