European leaders should reply that they have taken the US regime's complaints about insufficient security seriously, and are therefore sending several divisions of special forces and a flotilla of missile cruisers to the area.
Theoretically if Canada and Greenland became US States, how many electoral college votes and house seats would they get? CA is equal to CAN in population. They would be entitled the same representation. MAGA would never win a national election or control of the house EVER again. 👍
I don't think MAGA is thinking this one through, like nomral... Canada would single highhandedly have one of the biggest votes in North American leadership and policy.
With respect, it’s important to know that any discussion (joking or not) by Americans of the annexation of Canada is absurd, and only serves to make us angry and determined to turn our back on what was our most important ally.
My favorite part of Vance's argument is that the only threat to Greenland is... Us. He's literally saying that the Danish haven't done a good enough job at keeping us away so we should just have Greenland.

Canada and Denmark routinely invaded each other for half a century without ever formally declaring war. Hostilities only ended in 2022 when it was decided the cost of dropping Canadian whiskey on their side was too much to further bear.😃
