I'm working on tweaking a character dynamic so it fits the slightly comedic nature of the first half of the book, but in doing so makes the second half of the one-two punch plot twists hit harder than if I was less tropey/silly with it.

Oh noooo. Do you have a clear vision, though? I find sometimes plotting things out, considering pieces of dialogue I wanna include in a larger context, that kind of thing helps if I'm getting stuck!

I have a clear vision, no stress here! The dynamic itself isn't changing much, more in the way I portray it by focusing more on the absurdity and actively beating suspension of disbelief to death. For comedy!

I am finally nailing down my next project. I have a folder of dribs n drabs that I revisited for the first time in a long while and it was a trip! I think I know which one is calling to me the strongest… and it’s going to be my first foray into light sci-fi and an exploration of grief.

That actually absolutely grabs the feeling by the neck. Lonely cause so many of my friends are either self publishing or else already have an agent and I… yeah. It’s not like writing OR editing.
