@dianabutlerbass.bsky.social is a name u should know. A leader for a huge contingent white American Protestants u never hear about, just as numerous as white evangelicals but more committed to pluralistic democracy (but w/ a lot of room to grow on that front)

The roots of a pluralistic democracy come from mainline American Protestants who kicked off representative forms of governments many years ago and many retain those ideals in their local and national polity.
