The way things escalated and all of camp Trump now saying Ukraine invaded (or not saying Russia invaded) feels too calculated. I said in another post that if peace talks don’t go their way, I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump talks about boots on the ground in Ukraine.

I totally agree with you here. I’m afraid the writing is on the wall and Europe will be on their own defending Ukraine and ultimately themselves.
Worst case scenario, the US will be on its own fighting off Russians when they are done with using Trump.
