I loved both episodes and was immediately shocked by the animation quality and attention to detail. It did drag a little bit but the had a lot to recap and set up. Very excited to see where it goes!

I could express myself for hours on this topic but, simply put :

Toriyama's soul is in this project and it shows. It's the most "Dragon Ball" Dragon Ball felt in the past decade.

I love it and it's great to see the Z team act in character.

I actually enjoyed ep1 way more, because the new characters are interesting and so is the demon realm. The whole "everyone turned into a child" plot is something that I still don't really like. I hope this won't become too much of a goku show like Super

I think it's a stronger start than Super had, but probably should've been a two part premiere.

I respect the bold choice to focus on the new villains for the first episode, but as a result, it felt like it ended right as it was getting started. Looking forward to seeing where it goes.

Great setting overall, the designs and artistic direction are gorgeous, episode 1 is a masterpiece of direction, episode 2 is more mid but still ok.
Really hype for the rest of the story. Also the artistic direction is a fresh air after DBS, even with a mid storyboard it holds up thanks to that.

I think it's taking the right amount of time to establish everything. The colors look wonderful.
I'm still wishing we had more slice of life moments (the 2 day skip and Gohan's situation isn't addressed? The babysitter situation for Trunks? Give me details!!!) but that's a me thing I guess

ive really enjoyed it so far and thought its been perfect so far. i dont particularly care if things are "slow" cause i like learning the new lore and whatever else theyre dropping
