Thinking of making all future maps for my papers small enough scale so I can include the Gulf of Mexico. 🧪

Use two maps. One large scale to show the borders of the study area. The other small scale to show the location of the study area relative to the location of the Gulf of Mexico.

For all my projects the vicinity maps will include the Gulf of Mexico and Nuevo Mexico in the legend in white font.
