I keep hearing that. I have been told Edmonton and Calgary are mostly NOT UCP supporters. I am confused as to how (why) she got in.

Province-wide, the UCP received 52.6% of the popular vote in the 2023 election, and the NDP received 44.0%.
Calgary: UCP - 48%, NDP - 49%.
Edmonton: UCP - 34%, NDP - 62%.
Then there are smaller cities, rural. It was a close election. Edmonton "mostly not UCP supporters", true, Calgary more 50-50.
