I absolutely hate these scenes. They add nothing, and make me feel revolted. This one made me stop playing for a couple minutes because it felt too real with Duvalie's reaction.

Wanna know what really pisses me off about Angelica? She's such a cool character. A tomboy from a noble family, but she breaks gender norms and expectations, and lives life according to her own standards and principles, and is a lesbian.

God, it is so upsetting.

Between Shirley, Angelica and whatever it is that drives the entire cast to joke non-stop about Agate and Tita, Cold Steel has some of the most intrusive and fucked up anime trope nonsense I've ever seen in gaming.

Thankfully things do get better in more recent games.
