OK so I have ordered one of these, it is being Pleked as well, I will report back as it arrives next week! Eastman SB58 TV ltd. I thought the neck P90 (where I spend most of my time) would work well and the humbucker is there for solos. #guitarist #gas

Oh man, that's a looker! What is the neck like? I love the ebony boards on those. A local shop has that exact model in too. I may start with the 55DC though. Not sure. So why the slow burn??

Thing is, that's the iconic guitar! Gold top p90. I have my LP Std and SG special and Strat. Need the tele.... not need, but of course we understand what "we need". I'd go for it. If quality is on par. My Gibsons are 2020 and 2024 and incredible quality!

My Gibsons are 2018, 2019 and 2023 and the quality is excellent, I love my fenders, but In my experience the Gibson quality tops it unless you are buying Fender custom shop, but those prices are crazy.

Oh agree. I love Fenders. But for me they are like a Ford car. Good reliable beater. Not worth high prices. So I just buy those cheap. Gibsons have tons of more craftsmanship IMHO. Like art.

The heart wants what the heart wants. I haven't had to deal with G.A.S. for a while...but lately I've been thinking about getting either a Revstar or Reverend with P90s. I have a home build Tele deluxe with humbucker sized P90s that sounds great, but, y'know 😅😅😅

Supposedly, the quality of that brand is very good. But if you've been playing for a while, you know that every guitar is different. But with current manufacturing techniques, the odds of getting a good one is very good.

Make sure they have a good return policy. Rock on.

Unless you're dead set on a Les Paul copy, check out the P90 Yamaha Revstars. They're a like a perfecterd Gibson SG. I have the humbucker version, and it 's outstanding. You don't have to upgrade anything. $850 new, $600-650 used.

I spent a morning in Anderson’s playing at Les Paul standard gold top and the Revstar professional, both excellent, but the Les Paul was better IMHO. Mind you the revstar had old strings and was badly set up, which didn’t help.
