Ok, but let’s embrace the remorse. Let’s look for the shared experience and shared values and stop otherizing these voters. I’m struggling to forgive this country for bringing us to this moment, but we are not going to right this ship if we make (average) people feel villainized and victimized.

I do not accept hate, but I don’t think we will solve this by rejecting other humans with every fiber of our beings. I also reject the Trump administration, their platform, and hate and selfishness that got us here. I’m hoping they don’t truly represent the values of most of their base.
