I agree. I’m sure Nancy was a good football journo but as Phil said
‘An astonishing number of people despise Leeds United or what Leeds United stand for. But this club was never made for them’
And to get the club and us you have to get that.

Oh yeah it was never a personal dislike of Nancy, but the reason Phil was popular & his Athletic work read so much was because he got us. Nancy was clearly good at her job, and I'm sure she'll do great covering football in another capacity, she just did get our unique nature, really the Athletic
