going to shout out to the tools i used to make this bc i love when other creatives talk about their tools. up first is engine: Construct 3. i built the demo in Construct 2 way back in 2020. then picked up C3 over the summer and ported it over. great engine for quick iteration.

for art i used @aseprite.org and @pixaki.bsky.social. both great pixel art tools. aseprite for small assets and animations, pixaki when i do larger assets or full-screen images. and they work nicely together.
